STORAGE AND RETENTION OF YOUR DATA

As a minimum, we will store your data with our data processors (because we're data controller, and we do not store your data on our own servers) for as long as is reasonably necessary to provide you with the goods and services that you have requested from us, but in most cases we will retain certain of your personal data for as long as is reasonably necessary taking into consideration factors such as:

- our need to perform any agreements between you and us (including order fulfilment);

- our need to answer any queries or resolve any problems you may have;

- your continued consent to receive marketing and other emails and communications from us;

- our continued provision of our services to you; and

- our need to comply with legal requirements (e.g. relating to record keeping).

If you tell us that you would like to delete your account, we will take steps to delete all the personal data we hold about you once it is no longer necessary for us to hold it (e.g. to fulfil any outstanding orders, resolve disputes, or as is permitted by applicable law or regulation). The good news is that we don't require to have an account with us, so to place orders. You can checkout as a Guest.

For as long as we (our data processors) do store your data, we ensured that all of the data processors are following generally accepted industry standards and maintains reasonable safeguards to attempt to ensure the security, integrity, and privacy of the information you have provided. All of the platforms we work with have security measures in place designed to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. Personal data collected by the Company is stored in secure operating environments that are not available to the public. Shopify, the data processor which we use to store and run our online store, maintains information behind a firewall-protected server and uses SSL encryption for purchases made through our online store.

Notwithstanding our efforts to keep your personal data secure, no system can be 100% reliable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide through the Channels. In addition, you are responsible for maintaining the strength and confidentiality of your login credentials.

We will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable if we have reason to believe that there has been a personal data breach by us (or your personal data held by us) which could adversely affect your rights and freedoms.

And as we described in this policy, you can, at anytime, request your data to be erased. Such a request you can send to privacy@easyskinz.com and we will make sure to forward the same to Shopify, and any other platforms that hold your data, because of your purchase or online behaviour in our online store. We believe that while using Shopify as data processor, we protect your data better, because Shopify is well know company, who has much higher budgets to ensure proper protection for its customers.

Under the GDPR, in most cases the merchant collects information from
their buyers as a controller. Generally, Shopify acts as a processor for the
merchant with respect to such buyer personal data (or, if the merchant
acts as a processor, Shopify acts as a subprocessor):

The one exception is for buyers with whom Shopify has a direct existing
relationship. For example:
● Buyers who use Shopify's Frenzy flash-sale app to access a
merchant's store
● Buyers who use Shopify Pay, which allows the buyer to store their
payment information with Shopify for use across different Shopify
stores
● Buyers who use Shopify’s Arrive app to track the status of orders
made from a merchant’s store

Although in such cases the merchant may also separately be a controller
of the buyer’s personal data, Shopify processes the personal data of
these buyers as a controller.
